FORTECO® Wall Framing System is panelized load bearing bearing wall system.
- The panels arrive on site assembled pre-engineered to span the distances necessary to meet the design intent
- No need for additional bracing during the pour as it is the case with most other composite concrete wall systems
- Reinforced forms not susceptible to blow-outs or deformations
- No need for the use of scaffolding to assemble the walls on site. FORTECO walls arrive pre-assembled
- Significant savings in labor given that there is no need to assemble components on site
- Can be used on any construction type including residential and commercial
- Ability to attach wall finishes, including drywall directly on to the panel framing – no need for additional fasteners such as bar joists, or furring strips
- Mechanical, plumbing and electrical equipment can be easily installed through the openings in the light gauge steel studs, without the need of additional supports
- The panels are light and do not require heavy cranes to lift in place
- No limitations for high-rise building, the panels can be lifted to high floors
- The panels can be installed all year around regardless of weather conditions
- Excellent thermal performance given by the inclusion of a radian barrier, insulation, and the thermal mass of the concrete
- R values can be customized varying the thickness of some of the components allowing buildings to achieve high performance values required for sustainable construction and / or Net Zero Buildings
